TACEF Academy Home Lesson, a Christian-oriented group has kicked off a first-of-its kind after-school home lesson that teaches pupils with its learning portfolio of over 2,000 academic videos (based on Grade 1-9 curriculum), learning worksheets and even tools like microscope for broad-based easy learning.
TACEF Home Lesson gives each pupil a personal one-on-one learning led by well-trained home tutor, using over 2,000 videos on Maths, English, Science, Current Affairs etc. Each teacher has a Tablet (like iPad) for visual-led teaching. All classes follow Nigeria, UK and US curriculum for Grade 1 to 9 and focussed on complementing normal school learning, while also broadening knowledge with visual aids and hands-on mentoring.
The academy also differentiates itself with the use of modern learning tools. For example, the academy tutor brings a microscope to pupil’s home to teach topics like Cell, organism, cellular organism etc. It is important to note that at TACEF Home Lesson, each class starts with 10 minutes Prayer/Bible Study.
Parents also receive regular feedback on child's performance via email/SMS, in addition to quarterly Prayer meeting held between parents/tutors to stand in the gap for all the Academy students.
