It should be important to note that there are legal provisions for this as pensions for ex political holders of kwara state including the governor where duly approved and passed by the state assembly. As selfish this may seem, it is important to note that Kwara state under Saraki wasnt the first state to pass a bill providing pensions for elected political officers rather Kwara took a cue from Lagos state state assembly which was the first state to pass this selfish bill during the leprous reign of that festering canker worm and fraudulent convict, Tinubu.

I don't know where you got that gist from but the govt takes offenders to courts. In Tinubu's case he has so much money he can buy the Supreme Court, it's foolhardy to blame the govt for not him in prison.
