Are you implying Agbakoba didn't read it if indeed the details are in public domain? undecided
SamuelAnyawu:
From What I read about it, I think it's cool if it's implemented properly..

The problem of Nigeria has not always been agreeing to bilateral agreements, the problem has always been allowing it to work out smoothly.

Information is sacred meant for the ogboni fraternity presidency cox so far so good all we have heard has been rumours debunked every time & U wonder if femi adesina is high to tell us those press release. From my point of view pmb wanted to see the forbidden city he watched in jet Li movie so he only used bilateral trade as a decoy.
You would'nt blame Mr Femi, when you observe him psychologically each time he is making press statement, you 'll notice he suffers crise of confidence. It shows he is equally lost. God wil raise for us another IBB.

This is the closest I've read about https://www.nairaland.com/3062844/how-naira-yuan-currency-swap-deal

They need to come out with specifics though . . . probably the specifics ain't done yet.

Shey na this currency swap deal u dey base assumption on, in any case they have denied doing any swap deal with China.

This denial of the swap deal could be denied again sha........and termed a rumour.

Rumours and denials are the order of the day of this Govt.

Nigeria has been sold to UAE, Qatar & China by this senseless APC govt.

Is Buhari not mad ?

When he visited the US, you said the country was sold to the Americans, when he toured Europe you claimed the man was a lackey of UK and Germany. Now you say he has sold Nigeria to the Chinese. This emotional, un reasoning and sentimental statements from young people is very annoying.

You guys don't know the misery PDP has piled upon you. There are no jobs, the oil market has tanked , investments have dried up. Europe is staring recession in the face. China is actually the most well run country in the world. They devalued their currency, slowed down growth and are proactively managing a disaster that is coming. Nigeria is taking the right decision spreading it's exposure to developed countries. We need money to develop infrastructure and encourage investments.

This is what I expected from the Presidency upon return from this overly hyped and sensitive trip to China.

Rather than all the speculations of currency swap today and denial tomorrow and so on, they ought to have convened a press conference and properly briefed Nigerians on the particulars and import of this trip as well as others where agreements were signed like Qatar and UAE. We need to know whether all is well or we've been sold off due to ignorance.

It's not wise to go to sleep trusting in 'Baba' as some do. He is not God and highly ignorant too! He's just a mere mortal, an aged one at that and fallible as well.

Spot on... a press briefing will simply put an end to every doubts and speculations regarding the trips... God Bless Nigeria...

That was Emefiele and the Chinese representative clearing the air.

As regards 'denial' -- DHYB -- I can't guarantee that!

You can blame the PDP for everything that is wrong with you including the ancestral curse you suffer but the truth remains that as Agbakoba said Nigerians deserve to know the details of the agreement reached with China.

WHERE ARE THE BUHARI WORSHIPPERS?

In 1983 Buhari toppled the Shagari administration and imposed intense hardship. The hardship continued untill his administration was toppled by IBB. IBB, though corrupt, was much better than Buhari. He was a benevolent dictator.

1n 2015, as soon as Buhari became President, hardship started. Now, no tier of government can meet its financial obligations. Nigeria is indeed sinking.

We must "burn" the Buhari Shrine because it is a shrine of hardship and badluck. Why are the Buhari worshippers criticising the man? Are they just knowing that they worship a "god" of hardship and ill-luck?
When I hear the choruses of disapproval of Buharinomics from Wole Soyinka, Femi Falana Ahmed Tinubu and wife and their horde of worshippers in Buhari's Shrine, I am reminded of how an unholy marriage can easily be terminated.

The question I keep asking is: are the Buhari worshippers too ashamed to admit that the administration for 11 months cannot even perform a simple ritual of passing the national budget?

This evil "broom" must be burnt!
