Oga IG there is no need for that, if petrol is sold at the right price at the filling station, who will think of buying fuel from the black market... Make petrol available at petrol station and black market will die a natural death. 1 Like |

Jesusloveyou: Someone goes to petrol station with 5 litre jerrycan to by petrol for his tiger generator and you are talking about racketeering and economic sabotage. Please explain the connection. How will you prove that buying fuel to run your home or office amounts to economic sabotage? 1 Like |

Mr IGP, Are you residing in Nigeria? Are you aware that Nigerians are in perpetual darkness and depend more on generators for electricity? Do you also know that the number of people without cars or vehicle is far more than car owners and that a lot of people without cars own generators? How do you want them to run the generators? Do you also know that many people use petrol to run their business? Please tell Nigerians how vulcanizers, pepper grinders. barbers. tailors, hairdressers etc who depend on generators for power will do their work if they are denied access to petrol. Are you really saying we should carry our generators to the filling stations? We need answers to these questions. 1 Like |

Mr IGP, you have no blame for opening your mouth wide to the generalty of Nigerians and ulter this order because you are not concerned how your house is powered. Your own is to always have your house lite up and yoruba people say it's always painful where one expects to see wisdom and eventually found fulishness. It's highly unfortunate. |
