wrong, passover was celebrated as a reminder of the events that led to the isrealites leaving bondage in Egypt. The season or sun's movement does not decide the celebration, but rather decide the date the celebration will be held, cus the season, sun and moon movement decides how the Jewish calender will be calculated. After calculation, the passover was held on the 14th day of the month of Nissan.

Christmas and easter are celebration adopted from pagan worshipers by some so called christians, it has no correlation to the teachings of their holy book. 99.9% of what goes on during that celebration has a link with pagan practices during the time it was adopted.

easter date has nothing to do with the bible or passover, except the Friday and Sunday issues, and this are not actually calender dates.

The christians who initiated easter wanted to solidify their calender with their own celebrations, therefore relying on the Jewish calender was not an option. first they tried to destroy the method the Jews used in calculating their calender, they then forced the new calender down everybody's throught, before formulating a celebration, devoid of old Jewish calculations but filled with pagan ones.

There is no shred of evidence that the Jews were in bondage in Ancient Egypt. If there is one civilisation with historical accuracy, it is Egypt. You are entitled to your belief. But your believe lack any form of historical evidence.

actually, my beliefs is not based on historical evidence. Most historical evidence mostimes are being written in favour of those in authority, who will want to record that it's army was wiped out by former slaves.

Passover used to be on the same date as Easter but as Christianity spread through the Roman empire, there was discontent because the Roman Christians did not want to observe jewish holidays.

On the first ecumenical council, presided over by constantine the Emperor of Rome, it was decided that Easter would be dated such that it would never fall on the same day as the passover. It's for the same reason that even the dates keep changing.
