There is no doubt that Buhari remains the most incompetent president in the world. For every failure of his Government, he has blamed others. Buhari should as matter of national security be impeached. 1 Like |

What do you expect from a man who refused to honor several invitations for a preelection debate? The kind of jazz APC used on Nigerians must have been the most potent in Africa! 2019 where are you! 1 Like |

youngaz: Budgetlol........I sincerely wish buhari's administration well but this current budget with increased fund allocated to recurrent expenditure is not d way forward for Nigerians Btw the only option we have now is to look inward not on some foreign help cos they want what's best for themselves not us and for every 1dollar that comes into africa 1.50dollar leaves that's why poverty is now a normal trending way of life All his borrowing to fund d budget will increase d hardship for tomorrows' leaders cos we have no way of paying back unless petrol price smiles again. |

Now I am not a Buhari fan but this write up lacks objectivity. I am not surprised. Objectivity is not a Nigerian trait. ShySteady: Who the heck are these professionals? The group came short of blaming the President, but Nigerians who knew the antecedent of Muhammadu Buhari while in office in 1984 to 1985 and blindly went for a man who have not created anything, but only destroys the gains of his predecessors through his thoughtless policies and zero understanding of the workings in a public sector. This is an insult to the people who voted for him. They were all blind? Or they lacked a good alternative to GEJ? As a military leader, Buhari killed the Naira, killed the economy, destroyed our relationship with the rest of the world, polarized the country on tribe and religion, impoverished Nigerians to the extent that Nigerians were queuing up for essential commodities like Milk, Rice and Bread. 1. Buhari killed the Naira? Is he not defending its value? What professionals spew such rubbish? The Naira has been long depreciated. It has nothing to do with Buhari. And in case you have forgotten, it was GEJ who devalued the Naira. 2. How did he kill the economy? Is he responsible for the drop in oil price? Did GEJ save enough to enable the future generations to cope in times like this? 3. How has he destroyed the relationship with the rest of the world? Anyone can claim anything, backing up their claims would be the least a serious institution should be able to do. 4. Nigeria has been long polarized. The tribalistic attitude just becomes more apparent when resources are scarce. 5. If the previous government, that was enjoying a high oil price, had saved for what was inevitable and predictable, Nigerians would not be in the situation they are in now. On Buhari’s return in May 2015, he has within this short period, turned Africa’s biggest and fastest growing economy to a shrinking one. Crashing the GDP from about 7.0% to 2.4%, inflation jumping to 11.6% from 9%, over 2 million Nigerians losing their jobs, FDI dropped by over 85%, maternal and infant mortality is at all time high as result of poverty, malnutrition and diseases. Again, anyone who SOLELY makes Buhari responsible for this is not being objective and lacks knowledge. In a dwindling revenue, Buhari did the unheard of, instead of reducing the budget, he increased the budget from N4.3trn to N6.07trn. He presented the most fraudulent, inflated and irredeemably padded budget. So he finally presented a budget? I must have missed something. The Nigerian Governance Watch stated that they were not surprised, as President Buhari they described as a “very serious” leader, in a recession period did not deem it fit to appoint a single Economist among the 36 names in his cabinet. This I agree with. What is his vision? What is his concept? Is he even familiar with any economic theories? On the political front, the condemned President’s deliberate interventions in the electoral process and his use of security agencies to intimidate the opposition and the assassination and killing of people of diverse opinion. Evidence please. The UK based group, according to Hope For Nigeria is worried that President Buhari who benefited in one of the best organised elections in Africa just few months ago have been unable to successfully organise any election in the country. The former government did nothing for the economy other than enjoying a high oil price which they used for personal gain. And with the revenues made from such, they could have EVENTUALLY built up a stable and efficient power supply infrastructure, which would have solved PLENTY of other problems. Where is it? They should be ashamed to celebrate themselves for something they had no influence on (high oil price) and for not using it for the common good of their people. |

DarkNet: You have reps/senators representing you, why not write them to raise the impeachment motion in the house instead of crying online. |

seunmsg:The problem with Nigeria is that Nigerians refuse to look beyond tribal and regional interests but would support an obviously failed government just because of some sectional interest! Mr man would you type the above if the VP, ministers of work, housing and power, economy etc were from other regions and not Yoruba? The answer is a big NO! Now to you, every critic of this failed government is IPOB and Igbo! How hypocritical can you get! |
