CALM DOWN, BUT DON’T BACK DOWN
When you discover the will or leading of God in any aspect of your life and you follow it, but along the way you encounter challenges or difficulties and situation are overwhelming, the solution is not to back down or go back, it is not to complain or find alternative, you know the first thing to do? Just calm down!
Calm down because God is in control. Calm down because the situation is temporal. Calm down because it is still the will and leading of God for you. Don’t ever back down in the journey of God’s leading.
Here is the word of God, “And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.” Exodus 14:13.
In Your New Life
After you are saved from sins and old life, you know it is the best will of God for you, but difficulties and problems are coming up as a result of your new life……no, you cannot back down and go back to your old vomit, all you need is to calm down, calm down, relax in the Lord, and He will renew your strength and fight for you. There are many hidden truth we know when we just calm down and relax and so Satan will not want you to calm down but to be overwhelmed. Victory and success are on your way beloved of God, and I celebrate with you in your new life in Christ!
In The Work of God
There are lots of challenges and oppositions in doing the work of God rightly according to the standard of the Bible, sometimes, it will look as if you are committing a crime for preaching the truth or doing things the right way – the insults, attacks, oppositions, lowliness and several needs can be so overwhelming that you may be tempted to back down, water down the truth and join the misled, but that is not what you need, all you need is to calm down and see God’s glory, and see how God has been using you to bless many lives and where God is taking you to. These will encourage you to forge ahead without looking back. You are called and commissioned for this great assignment, for this purpose you were born. March forward!
In Your Marital Waiting
You have been waiting on the Lord for the right godly brothers, but all the men who have been coming are either unserious Christians or ungodly brothers demanding premarital sex or sinful practices, you know what? None of those men or “so called” brothers is the will of God for you. You have got to calm down and you will have reasons to wait till the end.
If you are overwhelmed about the long waiting as a Christian brother or sister, and it seems your own clock just stands still while everybody is passing by, and you are thinking of backing down of waiting or on Bible standard for godly partner, and so you want to just go ahead of God and choose any available “sister” or accept any suitor that comes your way this year? And can you imagine how you will be able to live the rest of your life on earth in opposite direction of God’s will for your life? Imagine yourself living a whole week by living against God’s plan, then think about doing that for the rest of your life with a wrong person in a wrong marriage for a wrong reason of not willing to wait on God? And what will be the foundation of your confidence to fight the storm of life in such marriage? What?
Oh! Thank God it is just an imagination, thank God you have not signed the contact of no return into miserable marriage, and thank God you can still turn back. Just calm down my beloved sister and brother, your miracle is on the way! Don’t forget to invite me. LOL
In Your Pre-Marital Relationship
You know it is the will of God for you to marry the person, and you confirmed it with the peace of God in you. But as you continue in the courtship, difficulties arises as if you should just back down, no, don’t back down, just calm down and see God’s leading and glory. The best is on the way!
In Your Marriage
Will you back down into despondence or divorce because of difficulties in your God’s ordained marriage? And how will God glorify His name? The difficulties in your marriage have duration to end, so do not end your marriage before the problems ends. All you need now is to just calm down, calm down and you will see clearly and have reasons to follow God and forge ahead instead of forcing the marriage to end. You will soon see the salvation of God!
In Your Finance
Financial difficulty is so overwhelming that one can easily be tempted to back down one’s integrity, godly standard or great vision for a glorious future. But that is not the solution, all you need now is to calm down and you will see clearly all the glorious God’s plans for your life. Backing down of your godly stands because of financial difficulties will only bastardise God’s plans and purpose for your life.
In Every thing
Whatever the situation you are now, and in whatever challenges or difficulties you are passing through, all you need to do now is to calm down and you will see the salvation of God.
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
Psalm 37:34
Wait on the Lord, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
Isaiah 30:18
Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.
Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Lamentations 3:26
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.
