U don't argue this young man. Any where on earth u hear medical students, the person is simply talking about med/surg students.
Other ones u have in mind are called by there names eg pharmacy students, mls students, nursing students, optometry students etc.
So to have u here refer to physiology and anatomy students of all of them dept. In college/faculty of health sciences, and still argue about ur ignorance, wow! Not even a brain transplant can get u back to start thinking cos obviously the one that will match u will still be/work like urs.

ABU naturally ahead. Was an undergrad at Red seat Shehu Umar Hall 1992.
It is still a wonder how I survived Faculty of Medicine and Barau Dikko Hall, ABUTH, Tudun Wada.
There is no need for this type of seating arrangement, Medicine is for the fittest, survival of the fittest via natural selection.
If you cheat in the theory and MCQ, What of the clinical and practicals?
