Assuming there is a god somewhere interested in human affairs, does it really make sense it would have us build magnificent earthly mansions for it, donate 10% income to another guy with a roman collar and private jets.

while millions die of hunger everyday in the planet... I think not

Since the bible is an incoherent set of ideology that can be view from any angle, how can you posit that people should practice Christianity as it is in the bible.

The Bible you talked about have massive amount of denominations under its umbrella that disagree on every point of doctrine on its shore.

People should be taught how to reason properly in order to acknowledge that the money or property they donate to churches are not going anywhere but to the pocket of the racketers for personal use. No invisible god (if he exists) could ever need those physically mundane things.

The institutionalisation of religious organisations are relatively the major reason why people are prioritizing donating their hard earned money to churches instead channelling their donations where they are needed the most.
