That aside, this same Quran taught me I can eat the food of Christians and Jews and it described Christians as those in nearest in faith to the Muslims. In fact an event happened in which the Persians fought the Byzantines(christians), when the Christians triumphed, Prophet Muhammad(saw) and other Muslims celebrated the victory.
