Two feared dead and many critically injured on Friday May 6, 2016 as a trailer lost control at Jakande bustop,Oshodi- Apapa express way crushing about three buses.

According to eye witnesses the fatal accident occurred while the buses packed on the express to drop off and pick passengers. Some of the survivors had very severe injuries.

Most of these trailers are poorly maintained. Some of them have bad brakes, some even drive on bad tyres. Above all, most of these trailer drivers drive recklessly as if they are driving danfo.

May God save us from these careless and reckless drivers.

I can tell you it wasn't weed,alcohol or something intoxicating...The truck must have had a ruptured hose connecting air for the supply of brakes

I hope they caught the fool that was driving and kick his butt

What lead to commercial buses dropping and picking of passengers on the express road?

Who should take the blame here?
Is it the druck driver who lost control(can happen to any motorist),

The bus drivers dropping and picking passengers on the express road(they must earn a living even if it means killing their passengers),

The passengers that stand at the express to board these buses also demanding to be dropped at these wrong places

Or

The nonchalant political leaders who allowed the road to turn to trailer park, blocking all bus stops and most of the roads

These polithiefcians are also away of the fact that Apapa-Oshodi express way have turned to death trap but kept mute!!!

I know that bus stop. The bus drivers are in the habit of leaving the service Lane and blocking the entire express at Jakonde, first and second rainbow bus stops to scout for passengers. Those bus drivers should be punished seriously because they are putting the lives of commuters in danger.

You naturally have to be anxious about everything!

Accidents, trucks carrying containers, ritualists, Okada, armed robbers, rapists, serial killers, swindlers and scam artists, kidnappers, food poisoning, organ dealers, pick pockets..No wonder our stress levels are high and we are quick to bad temper and violence.

Yeah, u'r right to a point. But, u know what? d lack of composure dat comes from sleeplessness & intoxication affects everything including d ability to notice something going wrong some. weed 4 eg gives u false confidence & make u think u'r totally in control when u'r not.
