It refused to power off until it went out of juice. It just kept restarting (Boot loop) until the battery was completely drained. It boots to the MI logo and then restarts continuously. Am waiting to charge it so that I can try some of the suggested steps above. Thanks for the response Gptech, you can add your own suggestions if you have any.

There will be a few surprises. My opinion on some shots:
*The Infinix note 4 has a superior flash and focuses better with it.
*In the selfie, the Redmi note 4x showed that megapixels doesn't guarantee better picture quality, was expecting it to be soundings defeated.
* The HDR on the Infinix note 4 did little to improve picture quality in low light.
