I've downloaded Mi PC Suite ver.3.2.1.3111 which I believe is the latest version. Still not detecting device. I've activated USB debugging & MTP. Still giving me standard error message that I should update my device. I've checked repeatedly for update, and told no update suggesting that I'm on latest. Epp!

Mi PC Suite is just a waste of time as it doesn't work. Read complains online about it. I even have it installed but not working.

Thanks bro, I finally updated to miui 9, I was getting that error message due to d wrong romantic I downloaded, I downloaded the one from thus link & it worked 4 me.

But, This thing do me strong thing cos I only backup my app & data but I thought it will also backup my music, video & pictures but na lie, my music, picture & video gallery was all gone.

I am trying to unlock my bootloader, but i couldn't get beyond the application page. It keep telling me to input my correct name.

Updated: Done, i removed the space between my names.

Oh sorry. I usually put my videos, music, pictures and documents in a folder, whenever I want to update, I copy the folder and the backup to sd card, then restore afterwards.

But usually I don't lose files whenever I use recovery rom. I guess it's a miui 9 thing.

Check mi cloud to see if there are any pictures or docs there

Thanks for always been there for me and my phone palava. I'm currently rocking Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and it has the following ish for now

1. I'm unable to use the finger print lock
2. Even with ifont apps, I still couldn't change the fonts. It's bringing sth miui 8 developer error ish or so.

3. The remote app also is not functioning
4. What other exciting features can I explore with the phone.
