Here

Its obvious you are already on Android 6 marshmallow , I don't think miui 8 for redmi note 3 is based on marshmallow, its Lollipop, you may have to wait a bit for the official miui 8 based on marshmallow to be released.

Evening bro. Pls i need assistance, i got a second hand xiaomi phone and i forgot to tell the person to deactivate his mi account before sending it down to me. Although i called him and he gave me his password but i was ignorant(story for another day). He changed that one so they locked me out now. What can i do to activate my own, i used a xiaomi phone before this so i have an account already
Gptech:

You may need to download another playstore. Or download playstore fix. To use playstore fix you must be rooted .
Alternatively, try clearing the cache and data of your playstore and then force stop. Reboot your device and open your playstore

The updater cannot change my ROM from "Stable" to "Global Stable". It's only for OTA updates, I guess.

Question not very clear, I believe the person's password should solve the issue.

Haven't heard of just stable rom, it's either global stable or Chinese stable, otherwise it may turn out to be a developer rom. I stand to be corrected.

As the name implies, it is supposed to be the most stable rom

Based on feedbacks from this thread , it's the Chinese Stable.
