I'm still experiencing high battery drain on my redmi note 4 global version. i think miui 9.0.5.0 is the culprit . The same issue on my brother's device too. I tried the manual update, its still the same. I actually upgraded straight from 8.2 so i can't really say much about miui 8 ba3 life but from reviews i believe its abt 10hrs sot. We can only manage 6 to 8 hrs on both devices running miui 9.0.5.0 in one day usage mode.

Lol. I used to get 11 hours plus before miui9, now I get like 9 hours.

Though when I use it heavily, I could go under 8 hours too.

Good day folks, pls I want to buy a new phone and I'm contemplating between the Camon CX and d new Redmi 5. For me, Redmi 5 is ahead in so many ways except 4g band 28(glo is fast in my area, but tnx to my smile router I can live without B28) n possibly camera. Pls I'll need feedback abt xiaomi cameras possibly d R4, RN4 etc(compared to Camon CX if possible), so I can at least know what to expect from R5. Thanks.

That's true, but redmi note 4 has a bigger ba3 dan mi A1, there are lots of custom roms on oreo for redmi note 4 on xda. I'll still prefer redmi note 4. That's just my view though

It could be a mix up because of 11/11 huge sales or something with the ordering system that changes Note 4 to Mia1 when you click on it.
