Do you actually mean redmi note 2? Its quite an old phone now, you will hardly get it and even if you do, the price will be almost what can get you better alternatives.

Is there any need to upgrade to stable 8.0.4? My phone came with v8. 0.3.... Any significant difference??

Strange, maybe it's all those accounts that have not been fully verified that have daily limit for naira spending.

How did you open the account? From the bank or from social media/sms?

After silently following this thread for almost one month, I finally placed an order for RN3 SE today, hopefully I will be officially joining the xioami club soon.

That was then prices have increased. Everything thing I bought was over 50k, even the phone alone.

Plug the phone to your laptop and see if it detects the phone. Do you have mi desktop app?
No I don't, but I noticed something in the battery, anytime I try to boot the phone the battery runs out of current, and it later comes back when I remove it from the phone...Meanwhile phone'snot coming on at all

Install mi pc suite and connect the phone. You might need to leave it connected for hours as you say it does not charge
