Sorry about your fone. If you finally get it to switch off, remove the sim tray, then put the phone inside a large container filled with RICE, leave it there for atleast half a day.
After the above, if it still fails to respond, I will advice you take it to a CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN.

Any other option apart from RICE? our Rice no reach one cup....Lol...

I will try that tomorrow..I have removed the sim tray..Still unable switch it off..

Seriously waterproofing should be considered as a must for phones. I know its expensive to get that done but by the time every manufacturer jumps in the train, it will become cheaper.

Which particular developer rom do you have installed? You can reflash the rom to get rid of such bugs.
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 11:36pm On Oct 17, 2016
Exactly! As as stated by GrandMufti, hope you have a backup before flashing new roms?

That's the reason I stay away from dev rom. The thought of reflashing and re-entering numerous app passwords

Try and check Gmail.. Perhaps you left "auto sync" turned on.

Don't get you, you don't need to do anything special on developer rom, no reflashing and whatsoever. The reflashing I stated is useful for any rom whether global or stable. Sometimes when flashing a rom for the first time, your device might become unstable, and reflashing the rom can fix it. Something similar happened to me when I first flashed miui 8.

Please explain mine is global stable of marshmallow? Is it inferior like Bros KuliMart is insinuating or nah better thing?

Yours is the special edition made for Taiwan market. That's why it receive late update. Normal RN3 PRO receive more update. It was 'codedly' released by Xiaomi with Android M out of box.

Are you on miui 8 now?

How is the general performance and battery life when compared to the previous version?
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Bookiemart01(f): 10:25pm On Oct 18, 2016
Yes I am
I'm actually not a phone techy person so I can't tell you the performance....

What I enjoy however is the "2nd space" feature...

Yea, it consumes much ram, time to upgrade.
I just got the redmi 2 today for someone and shocked, it surpassed my expectations. Seriously for less than 30k, I wonder why people still buy tecno and co.
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by yubiman(m): 12:05am On Oct 19, 2016
I got a redmi 3s prime from kulimart. Its been an awesome experience so far. The battery is good but it could be better if an issue can be sorted out. When I get notification from WhatsApp, the screen comes on. I've tried all I could. The only time it act normally is when I turn on the battery saver mode.
Who can be of help?
