Can you post AliExpress's response?

Did you attach a screenshot of your chat with the seller as an evidence? If not, you should. AliExpress should side with you if you do that.
OK

Given the assertion that the phone may have been flashed with global rom; is it in any way of lower quality than the "standard version?" I am in a fix as to why there should be a difference between global rom and global version.

Yes, and it disappears with the 4g and normal network
If you are rooted with magisk, search for the module called VoLTE enabler. Install it and reboot, see if the VoLTE becomes stable.

Okay. Attach screenshots of your correspondence with the seller and write it in the dispute's comment that you have added your discussion with the seller as evidence.

Let them know that you bought the mifi after the seller assured you that it supports band 28 which is very important to you

No the quality is same across board, the difference is in the LTE bands and the Google play services that you would find in the global version.

Basically, the only real difference between the Chinese and Global version is LTE band 20(800) which is present in the global version, but not in the Chinese version. You can flash global rom on the Chinese version, but that won't enable band 20.

In Nigeria, only Smile and MTN Nigeria deploy their LTE over band 20, that is in addition to MTN's band 7(2600).

It supports quick charge when u use a quick charger you would see the quick charge icon.
Yes oh na him oh one of my nipost friend helped me thou

It supports quick charge but only 2.0. So you won't get any benefit from using a 3.0 charger, it will still take the same time to charge with using a 2.0 charger

At this stage na compromise go end am. I can't believe I would be choosing a midrange phone because of dedicated slot for sd card in this age and time embarassed All these OEMs just put head together remove important features come dey re-introduce to seem like new features angry Maybe them go start to dey add removable battery back grin
Sold my phone after just 3 months because it lacked dedicated SD slot. Choosing between using 2 sims without SD card or 1 sim with SD card is annoying.

That simple?
I guess I will have to go to one nipost close to my address and ascertain my zip code then order it.

One more thing, how is the exchange rate now? I know banks don't use the official figure. My ATM is expired.

Annoying depending on the type of user you are and your pocket. Won't even consider using an sdcard if I have an internal memory of 64gig, I prefer OTG flash for further storage.
