If you're using Windows 10 just put on wireless display in your phone settings.
Go to the the PC and turn of wireless display and search. Connect the phone and that's it .
I don't use Of suite for that.

you guys please my redmi note 7 just got stolen. i already turned on lost mode from the xiaomi website, but the device cant seem to be located, please whats the next step to be taken and how do i go about finding my device? and please i just hope the phone cant be formatted or flashed

If the Redmi 7 is Full HD with at least 403 PPi as my Lenovo K5 pro, I would have gone for the R7 instead of the RN7 I bought . I can afford even the K20 pro but the r7 and RN7 meets my needs. The double sim slot plus dedicated memory card slot of the R7 is a winner for me. The plastic back case of the R7 is preferred by me to the fragile glass back of my RN7. my other phone (Lenovo k5 pro) has a rugged Aluminum unibody and I am never scared of the phone dropping from my hands during use. I Cared less about the superior processor of the RN7's SD660 over the R7. I am not a gamer or a programmer. I wanted to go for the Samsung A50 but the lack of IR blaster put me off.
It isn't sometimes about the price.
