Where are you buying from?

As long as the ROM is an official Global ROM be it EEA(EU ROM) or the Global ROM for the rest of the word you don't have to fear.

EEA ROM is the ROM that ships on global version phones meant for the European market

If it is Jumia, you are most certainly going to get the Global ROM. Even on Aliexpress if the Seller stated Global Version you get the Global ROM.

The possibility of getting the EEA ROM on Aliexpress is if you are buying a Chinese version with Global ROM flashed on it.

As long as the phone comes sealed and Global Version is written on it you don't have to worry irrespective of the ROM on it.

Redmi note 7 pro might probably go global as the Redmi note 8 , and a new Redmi note 8 pro gets launched

I doubt it though, because the Redmi 8 footprint is towing the design ideology of their big brother Redmi K20/K20PRO.

If the Redmi Note 8 pro will get quad cameras, the vanilla Note 8 should get a minimum of 3. Or a 48mp main sensor while the pro gets 64Mp

Global version have global version written on the carton and mostly comes with global ROM.

The sellers usually indicates if it's global version or not. So far you have global version indicated, then you have nothing to worry about.

If you are buying from Jumia, there's is global version with global ROM.

If you are buying from AliExpress, some sellers on AliExpress always indicate it but you can always chat them up to confirm. Same with sellers on here.
