1. Reboot your phone up to 2 or 3 times. If it doesn't work, then.

2. Redownload the last update and reinstall.
Rebooting would not resolve that

since I laid my hands on this phone, I have never encountered notification on the lockscreen. I have done everything I can but it's not showing still. I have to unlock and swipe before I see anything.

What do you mean by Corning gorilla glass?

RN7 has Corning gorilla glass 5 for the front and back same with the Redmi Note 8

You can't do anything about the status bar notification, it is because of the notch.

Hope you are not confusing status bar and lockscreen?

As for lock screen it can be enabled from notification and Status bar. Enable show on lock screen

Never knew just changing one thing in settings give this much change of output

R7 stock cam
1. Normal settings
2. Saturation - high
3. GCam

Goto settings>manage app>then click on the apps u want to get lock screen notifications for, then click on notification and enable lock screen notification, hope that solves it
