ok hope you know that aside the y9, the other Huawei phones here are basically flagships. The only mi phone you ve used is a mid range (lower midrange gan), the y9 on the other hand is a newer release than the note 4x. Now you see that the comparison is not fair. The mi 9t no doubt will change your mind about Xiaomi.
