the hard truth bro is that u ve damaged the audio transfer chip located in the 3.5mm port which is responsible for switching audio between phone earpiece nd the earphone jack when in use. This is as a result of constant removal or usage of various earphone jack. Best option, order for 3.5mm audio port replacement for ur phone model from aliexpress.

In the setting, You will see the option to install update from file, Then you choose the file you downloaded. Note officially, Xiaomi discontinued updates for redmi note 4x in Android 7.0. Meaning you can update after android 7.0. The one am using are roms people ported from other updated phones to work for redmi note 4x.
