Config file

Affect application of config file. Go to advanced settings, where you see Pixel 4XL change it SSKGM1

Create a folder on the root of your internal storage called GoogleCamera then create another folder in this folder called ConfigsCamera. Paste the XML FILE (s)

Then open the app click on the black space at the right side between the shutter button and the button to view pictures select the config file and click restore. Close the app and reopen.

Go to settings, advanced where you see Pixel 4 XL change it to SSKGM1(If applicable to this version).

Incase you can't apply configs

There is no problem but you will miss out on security flaws fixes on your current ROM and subsequent new features that will be added. I have updated my phone from MIUI 9 down to the current MIUI 11 No problem whatsoever.

First of all this is definitely not Redmi Note 8 Pros camera. RN8 Pro dedicated GCam is based on version 6 and not GCam Version 7

Secondly thats the screenshot of the gcam I got from following the compilation direction in downloading gcam for redmi note 8 pro.
As a matter of fact.. I uninstalled and downloaded that camera twice sir

This Rn8 burnt my 64gb SD card, I lost everything now. Seriously sad. I updated the phone with the SD card inside, since then nothing is showing on the card.

Nope, his life start and end on the Xiaomi thread. I think the dude is lonely or being starved of attention elsewhere, hence his desperate need for it on this thread. Wish him all the best though, he could just turn out to be a fun dude if he learned out to behave, and respect people's right to say positive things about the device they use daily..

Which folder creation format did you use?
Use the steps here as a guide, that way the Gcam will create the folders itself

Because I have sent that link to other RN8PRO users that I know and they installed and applied Config with zero issues
