FYI there are apps that let you know the active LTE band in your location so no need for guess work

I can see you have confirmed yourself.

When it comes to network bands, Gsmarena are sometimes not correct and they don't update their posts sometimes when the OEM release multiple versions, that is why I prefer Kimovil.
Kimovil first stated the RN8 global has band 28 a day after its release they updated it.

I use Glo and I have an RN5 and my friend has RN8 PRO. In Lagos here I use 4G on band 3 but during my holiday back in the North I couldn't use 4G but my friend with RN 8 Pro had 4G on his phone. Normally I use signal Spy Pro but I don't need to use that to verify since I already knew his phone had band 28.

If the phone was still knew I would have doubted myself but it is too old for me not to be sure of the bands it has.

1. Your GCam aspect ratio is on 16:9 instead of 4:3

2. The folder should created as stated, GoogleCamera>CameraConfigs>then paste config(XML file)

Note it is case and location sensitive

it has band 28, i've used it in my area in lagos and only my phone gets 4g on glo even though other family members couldn't get 4g on their glo sims.and this was after switching from a redmi note 5 which also could not get 4g on glo in the same area
