Xiaomi has been delayed the MIUI 12 beta update for Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8, Mi MIX 3, Mi CC9e and has temporarily suspended for Mi MIX 2S. This update has been delayed due to some issues and bugs.

The reasons for delaying the update of the above devices are divided into two. The Redmi Note 7 MIUI 12 beta update has been delayed due to the OTG connection issue.

On another side, updates for Redmi Note 8, Mi Mix 3, and Mi CC9e have been delayed due to a stability issue. This was done because the package was unable to compile successfully.

CN ROM are already beta testing MIUI 12 on RN8 for close to 3 weeks now.

Excalibur has NFC.

RN9 and RN9 Pro/9S don't use the same 48MP sensor.

All those phones supports LTE-A or 4G + as you put.

First Ever update on the RN9 Pro Global Version.

I need an advice on the best way to update, without facing any issues.( Like the update issues I have been seeing other users complain about here Battery, network...etc)
- OTA
Or
- Update Locally.

And if Locally, where do I download it from??

Redmi 9 then more versatile camera, a better processor for gaming, the battery should be in the same mould as the Redmi 8.

I saw it and ignored it on purpose. I don't get why you will have an update and be waiting justification when some of us haven't gotten updates in months.

More like the Redmi Note 9 Pro is the Global Version of the Indian Pro Max with a difference.

Indians get better treatment because that is their largest market for mid-range devices yet they aren't satisfied.

The Indian Version of the RN9 like the Chinese Redmi 10X 4G will start at 4/64Gb instead of 3/64GB, and I bet it will be cheaper.
Sir genius is it possible to buy the Indian versions of Redmi note 9 series, and do they support all our network band?

I never said it doesn't support GCam, rather I said their is no GCam port for it yet. Meaning there would in the future.

Except you have someone in India and no it has limited LTE Support.

I don't get why one will be looking for the pro max when the difference in the outputs of both the 32MP and 16MP is not wide.

Was just thinking maybe the Indian versions may be more rugged, since Xiaomi gives special preference to India devices cos of its market size. Thanks for the input as always..
