Mehn, this battery, nah, Xiaomi is on a totally different level. Under minutes, the phone is full(not from 0 tho) and then using it (game+chat+the usual), drops very very slow. I was on injustice 2 for two hours and only 15% was gone(not a tasking game sha but still).
P.S: this is my first Xiaomi experience hence my excitementgrin

Well, I haven't updated, and tbh it's due to some "complaints" I've seen here. This miui 11 is serving me well so....might update later

People forget other factors easily and are quick to heap the blame on ROM.

I didn't notice any noticeable change in battery performance between MIUI 12 &11. They're the same.

I used MIUI 11 for a week before updating this past weekend due to some problems with Airtel network. Couldn't hear a single sound on the other end but peeps was hearing me perfectly. I had to restart the phone to rectify it until I did a full update when it continued on a specific number.

Na yeye Airtel network force me to update to MIUI 12 this past weekend. And some Opera bugs. MIUI 12 is also great too.

True, there are various other factors that people overlook and are always quick to blame the innocent ROMs

Normally, on WhatsApp when you select a text you will see the options to highlight, strike through, use bold font etc.
But thanks to the default miui text selection feature, those options aren't available.

And it's not just on WhatsApp. I can't access the unique features other apps would show when you select a text. I'm stuck with this miui version instead.

Is there a way to turn it off?

I don't know what's happening but many Redmi and Mi devices are affected.
It's probably from the game, hopefully they'll fix it soon.
