I cut my MTN sIM myself and I have not had any single issue with it since I inserted it into the phone (Redmi note 10 Pro)but on the contrary my Glo which was factory cut was to he SIM giving me internet wahala.
genius43:

That is it. A SIM that was cut always misbehaves on Xiaomi phones.

Factory cut no issues.

Use latest Mi Mover and be sure your File Manager/Gallery app is up to date, else, it won't move all your gallery files. Also, you may lose some records of call register and Messages if you're moving from Mi Dialer/message to Google dialer/messenger.
I hate this Google dialer like kilode, reason i can't embrace Redmi 9 upward. I will rather get iPhone and continue with old Xiaomi device as backup and calls.

In my experience, same with my Dad manual cut SIMs stops working after a while factory cut no issues. If you are having internet issues that is network problem. We are talking of situations of the phone not identifying the SIM Card at all until a SIM swap is effected with a factory cut.

This have happened three times to be a coincidence

But oppo own is the best because that is my first phone, if you enter any number, e don tell you the country that has that number instantly

I don't care about that. I love simplicity. The Google dailer is simple enough.

People shout about privacy up and down but yet you want to record a call without the other party's knowledge.

If you ask all of them the problem they have with Google dailer 99% of them will mention call recording.

well, mine is still working fine after like a month of cutting it. All in all I believe it all boils down to how careful you are when cutting the SIM not to affect the chip.

I think my battery is not lasting as it should.
I bought RN10Pro and used the whole >60% battery before charging the phone for the first time, y'all say this no longer affects the battery?

I won't say it isn't strong. I just know that there is something that makes the phone run even when not awake that haven't been sorted.

I have not used AOSP before, I was browsing through XDA-developers and saw an official Pixel Experience release for Redmi note 10 pro, I have half a mind to flash it.
Can someone explain how AOSP compares to MIUI?
