The answer to this question can easily be understood when two things are taken as the basis for scriptural analysis
1. The Bible is authentic: Having this mindset will make you want to prove and not disprove God's word. (Sounds similar but its the basis for proper understanding).
2. The lifestyle of the Bible characters and how the Bible is written.
Having these in mind, we first understand that the Bible is not written entirely in chronological order.( Gen chapters 1 and 2 are accounts of the creation with chapter 2 focusing on man while 1 focuses on everything and not necessarily that 2 followed 1).
The Hebrews were known as those that married their close relations as seen in the case of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Each didn't marry outside their close families as the Bible tells in Gen 20:2; Gen 24:4 and Gen 28:6,7 respectively.
Also, the Bible account does not speak about everybody. Just selected few that we can learn lessons from and that have links with the Messiah.
Fro Genesis 5:4, And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughter:. The next verse talks about the other years he lived and moved on to write about Seth. This means that Cain obviously had sisters of which he took a wife from.
SIMPLY PUT, CAIN MARRIED HIS SISTER.
