The power stations you talk of actually power the whole Nigeria, except you are not of Nigeria, then I do not know what you mean by "ur lagos oil and gas" and "ur stations."

But think of it, If there is true federalism or regional segment in this country, each region or state will generate and power its region and there will be a healthy competition among the states.

North would generate and distribute thru shiroro, kainji, solar and wind, ND will use there gas to generate so if NDA or tompolo decides to blow up gas pipelines it will be ND business and not affect the whole nation and they will be able to fish him out and do the needful.

Ajaokuta steel can feed the whole middle belt, with tourism and agriculture that every region cn practice with whatever they have comparative advantage to grow.

The bulk of violence you see in Nigeria has everything to do with the political structure of the country and resource control of course. The injustice and inequity are too much. Nigerians have to be sincere to themselves in order to bring about peace.
Every region is important and must be given a sense of belonging. Nigeria's problems cannot be solved with military might.
We need a president that understands these points. Unfortunately we have a tribalist and tyrant as president who erroneously thinks that he and his ethnic group own Nigeria because he is president. Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians. And which intelligent leader would openly disrespect the region that provides the country the bulk of its revenue?

I agree that the structure is a problem but do not agree with your conclusion tha the structure accounts for the violence.There is as much logic to that as saying if you give money to beggars God will bless you with riches. I believe that the cause of violence is multifactorial and to sum it all up as down to structure is not only spurious it is lazy.
