During the 2016 budget defense, the amount proposed by the ministry of interior for feeding in Nigerian prisons was divided by the number of inmates already in detention and the committee got N140 a day per prisoner/detainee.

Let this nonsense of N14,000 (Fourteen thousand Naira) be corrected to the real value, which is N140:00 (Hundred and Forty Naira only) per day.

By the way, the committee promised to raise it to substantial amount before the final draft.
