"...without the option of fine"- good job, judge! But 10 years is still meagre and not commensurate with the crime of illegal possession of fire arms. However, as there is no 'option of fine', the judgement is most welcome. This should at least serve as deterrent to other rampaging armed herdsmen. The day of reckoning must surely come. The judge should be probed, how can they be refered to as fulani herdsmen wen that tall buffon said they wia from Kenya abi Nairobi or Libya The only truth about this present administration is there party logo. As a leader whether you are ruling or not do not make certain pronouncement or statement it could hunt you back. Justice Marcel Okoh pronounced the guilty verdict on the two Fulani nomads in a two- count charge of unlawful possession of firearms proffered against them by the Attorney-General of Delta State, punishable under Section 3(1) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provision) Act Cap R.II, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2010 and were sentenced to 10 years imprisonment each with hard labour and without an option of fine.NICE ONE 4 Likes |
