haabimbohlar: my dear don't misquote or mix things around, there is no time the VP says subsidy wasn't removed, he only said the removal was not occasioned by the need to remove subsidy, but that it was necessitated cos there was no enough to fund the subsidy thus the gov't had no choice than to remove it. Please go and read his staments and digest it pls. 1 Like |

BiafraBushBoy: I wanted to tell you where your brain is so that you can locate it, but I remember that you are a bush boy residing in a primitive hamlet. Subsidy's discussion is beyond your mental horizon: stay clear. |

Omonigeriarere: Do you know that PMS price can be reduced to 100 to 120 without subsidy?? If yes, Have you seen why your reasoning ability is obviously the reason why you are still in your state of .......... never quote me again... I beg you.. |
Re: Senate Backs Subsidy Removal by Omonigeriarere: 4:44pm On May 17, 2016 |
BiafraBushBoy: Your hero borrowed to pay FG workers to pay salaries till the end of his tenure despite partial removal coupled with the fact that PMS price was over $120 at Oil Market: now, the PMS price is not even up to half of what it was as at then: what moral justification do you have to insult PMB? I wonder where you were throughout the last 16 years of PDP's ruling. |

haabimbohlar: The VP actually meant removal of subsidy. Vanguard wrote the news in a way that will confuse the people. You apparently only read the headline. The body of the news was in no way in coherence with the heading. |

Re: Senate Backs Subsidy Removal by Ubenedictus(m): 7:20pm On May 17, 2016 |
MrTruth4real:even if we devalue it we still won't have enough forex. devaluation does not. help us |
Re: Senate Backs Subsidy Removal by Nobody: 7:25pm On May 17, 2016 |
Ubenedictus:At least, it will help us a little, if the oil marketers are getting forex from black market and CBN together, rather than getting from black market alone, even black market can provide enough forex for all fuel importers. The govt just need to devalue our naira. |
Re: Senate Backs Subsidy Removal by Ubenedictus(m): 7:41pm On May 17, 2016 |
MrTruth4real:d black market will never be the same with the official price |

Re: Senate Backs Subsidy Removal by udeh3(m): 9:25pm On May 17, 2016 |
From my on understanding of this whole issue is that "fuel price have been hike by the federal government due to inability to access forest." It is different from removing of fuel subsidy. The govt have not remove fuel subsidy. Payment of subsidy is still in the just approved budget. What I see here is a govt that is not sincere... The minister of information saying a word, the minister of petrol. for state says another and finally the vice president says different things. Our president, have not even come out to address the nation, even the National Houss of Assembly are confuse. |
