Yes! We advocate for petition against government and we still maintain the position. And this group called Coalition for the Emancipation of Osun State has come to do what we advocate but against the government of Ogbeni.

Ogbeni Rauf, the governor of Osun State that we know and vow for is one of the most performing governor we have ever seen in the light of the financial reality of the time, prudent and workaholic. As governor, he has lived a life without unnecessary amassment of wealth.

Rauf's government faced an unprecedented financial crisis during his tenure... when the state allocation dropped drastically at 70 % and the salary which cover 70 % of the allocation remains constant. That accounts for why it could not satisfy the civil servants in the state.

OSUN has the second largest number of civil servants in Nigeria and receives lowest allocation from federation account. These are the challenges that Rauf is battling with as a governor who is desperate to be successful.

Rauf went extra mile to manufacture, save, and sourced for substantial money to finance his giant projects in the face of scarcity of fund. We are aware, he decided not to appoint Commissioners for years so as to save money for the state.

In the recent, like magic, he commenced serious construction of his abandoned projects across Osun State. We are marvelled because we don't ever envisaged that as government, it could come out of it shell due to the terrible nature of it financial challenges.

Who are we to condemn opposition and activism provided it is constructive... meanwhile, the mushroom organization that was led by one semi illiterate Sulaiman and their media instrument Femi Makinde fall within the parameter of condemnation.

Why are we against these guys is because they launch destructive criticism. In all their protest, they rain insult, abuse and dirty language on the governor of Osun. The day we saw the semi illiterate activist indulging in the act , we concluded that the guy and cohorts cannot be mentally alright.

Femi Makinde of Punch Newspaper is another case study. He is one journalist we have not seen his like... a disgrace to journalism he is. He assumes the position of enemy of Rauf to the extend that he converts good and favourable news to bad one. The day Aregbe is praised, he reported that Aregbe is rebuked. We still don't know what the guy really want to achieve.

Research show that the supervision of LGs by the Rauf's government is the reason why there are strong and reliable roads in all LGs in Osun State. The management of LGs finance and that of the state is transparent to a joint committee comprises of representatives of LGs and State government. The financial affair of the LGs and State is therefore a transparent affairs without any shady dealing.

Finally, the petition of this mushroom organization is a test of governance dexterity of Rauf Aregbesola... Let wait to here what the result it is.
