U are lucky to have relative to stay with. Now thats great, cos u can save up, I know Masters program is intensive, check student union in ur University, they have some part time jobs for students, please don't over work urself for now, cos course work will weigh u down and u need to be mentally stable for the first 6months atleast.

I know by now u might have opened bank a/c, mobile phone, get national insurance form from the Uni complete and submit to inland Revenue, u wil be called for National Insurance interview( u don't need to have a job b4 applying for that) U need all these items for job applications( bank details, contact number, NI number)

I think more pple will post more stuff u tht will help.
