What is picture data type in mysql pls does anyone knows?

Yes of course, you can, Images are ehm blob. Just go and search google first. If you are not clear

It is probably a better idea to store image file paths as opposed to actual images, for storage capacity reasons.

I am awake now. thanks jare yawa. I was dozing off there and havin problems remembering how to store images into dbase blobs.
