JOB OPENING: School Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION: Caring Hands School is seeking to hire an experienced school administrator in SATELLITE TOWN / AMUWO-ODOFIN L.G.A. (LAGOS) who can help to ensure the efficient and cost-effective running of the school through a range of secretarial, administrative, supportive and financial tasks. Prospective candidates should be able to offer an effective administrative support service to the staff of Caring Hands School, and serve as a liaison between parents and the school. The selected candidate will work to bridge the communication between school and home by helping parents get the information, support, and help they need to ensure their child’s academic and social success in school. Good interpersonal, IT, numeracy, organisational, time management, negotiation and communication skills are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. A Bachelor’s degree or a certificate in education administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
2. At least two years of relevant experience.
3. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
4. Relates well to people of all ethnic groups.
5. Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
6. Understands administrative responsibilities.
7. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
8. Is honest, trustworthy and dependable.

REPORTS TO: School Director.

SUPERVISES: Assigned professionals and paraprofessionals as appropriate.

JOB GOAL: To ensure the smooth operation of the school.

POSITION TYPE: Full time

SALARY SCALE: Competitive salary scale.

SCHOOL LOCATION: Adeyeriola Close, Opposite Police Post, CBN Estate 1, Satellite Town, Lagos.
