What is a toner?
A toner is a liquid that has to be used after cleansing.

Reasons why you should use a toner in your routine?
1 -Shrinks the pores and tightens the skin.
2 -Reduces oiliness of the skin.
3 -Improves overall skin texture.
4 -Removes dead skin that sticks even after cleansing.
5 -Restores pH balance of your skin.
6 -Refreshes the skin.
7 -Prevents ingrown hairs.

Types of Toners
1. Fresheners :- mildest form with no alcohol, best for dry skin e.g. Rose water
2. Tonics : these contain up to 20% alcohol suitable for all skin types e.g. orange flower water
3. Astringent: - This has a high proportion of alcohol between 20-60%. Mainly used on oily skin as it can dry out the skin
