Its a pity that lots of Niger Deltans are shouting now. Go and ask the likes of Ibori what they used all the 13% special allocations given to them for. The leaders in the area have been shortchanging their people for a very long time and instead or holding them accountable for their evil deeds, they are destroying the whole place. It is out of shallow thinking because if not, the consequence of what they are doing is enormous and it will take Avery long time for it to be repaired. Let North be destroying themselves and south south destroy their land, what is south west doing. South east shouting Biafra, and you think government will be able to settle down and do what is necessary for your region, no is my answer. Hold your leaders accountable. South west will never do such because they think deep about their society and they value life. Don't think they are cowards, they are never one but a dogged fighter, they strategise before acting. Let the Niger Depths began a conference in their area and send very strong and powerful delegation to houses of rep, senate and finally to presidency, from their the government will know they are serious in sad of this destruction they are doing all around. Ask them which part of the country is not feeling the economic stress now? You are only adding to it by blowing up oil installations. |

Well, of course... Nobody saw this coming... Nobody? I did. When Boko haram was terrorizing the country, militants felt oppressed by the "fame" boko haram was building up but, they couldn't do shît because it was goodluck, they had no reason to ruin their brother's government but, now... "heyyy y'all that old retired general from Daura is in, it's our own time to be famous... let's ruin his government." Buhari is old already, they are not ruining his government, they are ruining our future and their own too but, they are too s+upîd to see it... Sooooo... Let them continue, we'll see who cries later... Fingers crossed |

The story continues that's what the love of money causes confusion, greed, increase in many sins. Money brings out your true self. Better everybody in this country to go back to the basics of love through Christ. The last days are upon us. Read your Bible all these things happening now are there. This is not an opinion but call to order. The choice is yours |

mrinsurer: With due respect this won't work. that's creating another office for the elite to enrich themselves. We know what to do but we have refused to do it. We're just running round in circles but I'm sure that sooner than we think, Nigerian State will do the needful. |

YourNemesis: Which state would that be? And you forget that it is only recently that AKS has been receiving the 'large allocation' that Nigerians like to talk about. If Nigecia is a federation then there should be no unitary collection of revenue. Let each state, produce what they can and pay royalties but the FG should not be the one to take collect revenue and then 'share' it. |

brownskindude:Hey!..Lagos makes more money than every other states in the country and our federal allocation is not even up to 5billion per month compared to the over 10 billion given to you people (Niger Delta) on a monthly basis....we depend solely on our IGR to sustain ourself in Lagos. |

chacoonder: Oga! Both of u r saying 2 different things! N both of u r right! But there is a diff! SS internal generated funds from oil goes to Govt/multinationals. Taxes etc. So if we talk about resource control by states, Lagos dey learn work! But so far Lagos generates more that everyother states cuz of population(trades, etc) mainly by foreigners esp ndigbos |

brownskindude: You contribute nothing to Nigerian economy. Shell, Chevron and co contribute to Nigerian economy. There is no work of Niger Delta people that can be pointed to as some significant "contribution" to Nigeria. Oil being under the geographical area you occupy is not evidence of your "contribution". Your ass did not make it, put it there or help develop extracting it. So never again in your life claim "contribution". Also, have you ever heard of Ministry of Lagos? But you have heard of Ministry of Niger Delta and Niger Delta Development Corporation? The ones headed by Niger Deltans? |

Internal Militancies are "Pressure Groups" and good to throw out bad Governments. External ones like Bokoharam, ISIS etc are criminal invaders and always in violation of UN standards. |

Re: The Niger Delta Avengers: Nigeria's Newest Militants - BBC by Nobody: 1:31pm On Jun 02, 2016 |
allthingsgood:Yes my friends, Mr President's posturing and actions betrayed him as a leader who was obviously biased against the tribes that didn't give him popular votes. From the 5% gaffe to the lopsided appointments he has left no one in doubt about where his loyalty lies. We don't expect that from a leader of a complex country as Nigeria. Yar Adua was from the core north as Buhari, he came in when militancy was at a peak, we all know the master stroke he took to quell it. Wisdom is mightier than many armies. |
