From time past, it was unheard of that men and
women could be friends. They were just too
different, it was almost considered blasphemous if
they had a relationship that was platonic. They
hung out in their own homosocial worlds, and that
was it. It’s been an impassioned and controversial
topic over the years, and has evolved as men and
women are more integrated in society and the
workplace together. While it might be possible to
have a friend of the opposite sex without acting on

choices. With men, it’s such an overpowering urge that
it clouds their other senses and judgments, such as
why they should just leave a platonic situation as
