DAUDU AGAIN thought this man was once the president of NBA, no wonder corruption developed wings for flight

But why cant he be on the prosecution side for once? Why is he always alignining himself with yam eaters. Saraki case comes to mind quickly. #corruptlawyers.

Delay tactics! I don't blame the lawyer, he's doing what they are well-known for.

The question is for how long?

will he delay for four years?

I am not a lawyer but from a layman's perspective Mr. Joseph Dauda's request is not unreasonable. Why charge a man on same issues in two different courts? What is wrong in consolidating them into one, wouldn't it in fact save us the time and resources Justice Yusuf is complaining about? Except there is something else behind this whole drama...I don't see what the fuss is all about especially if the prosecutors are certain of their facts to nail the guy! In my opinion, having two identical cases running at the same time is fishy.

Two or 100 courts....let him defend himself....

If not for his delay tactics, he culd Hv rested rather than complaining of many court.....

If his hands were clean he culd Nt Hv been in dis position.... so Dats good for him.....

I also want to let u knw that wen dealing with strong politicians like dis....u need all d power to weaken his movement, Evn if it means making it 100 courts to weaken his power find and enuf bail....

I so much Lik buhari govt though am a PDPian.... he is giving corrupt Ppl sleepless night....if this is d only thing buhari will do then am OK with it...

Acting under authority in "disbursement of funds" has never been a crime anywhere in the world.

A man under authority obeys the last order.
You need to shut it and quit. Since you started posting on this topic, you haven't made an iota of sense.

What is the role of the NBA and NJC in whipping in place all these debased lawyers we have out there these days? The judge is absolutely right. Joseph Daudu is famous for filing frivolous motions, while Riki Tafa is known for bribing judges.

BTW, VP Osinbajo and Itse Sagay, we need special courts to try corruption related offences now!!! The regular courts already have too much on their hands!

Just curious, how do courts in developed countries handle the issue motion upon motion from defense lawyers to stall a case?

We don't entertain it, period! We throw it out IMMEDIATELY!!! Besides, if a lawyer tries it he risks getting sanctioned, losing his license, and disbarred. No lawyer out here is that foo*lish. You can't waste the time of the court or disrespect the Judge if you don't want your "life" to come to a screeching halt. Nigerian society just seems to have a problem with following rules, law and order.

Wetkas cross examination has been on for weeks now. Can the judge give the defense council a deadline to wrap up the examination? Is that permitted in western courts?

Are you aware any case where a western lawyer used this sort of tactics to delay proceeding? Can the judge intervene and halt such?

Why can't the CCT judge in the case of Saraki or the judge in Dasuki's case throw out this sort of tactic by the defense team?

Just curious.
