good job...whether it was initiated by GEJ or PMB is inconsequential.....government is a continuum...if ur predecessor left some projects half done,its d duty of the successor 2 complete dose projects...after all,its a project that will be beneficial to everyone...

I laugh at the rate people think in this part of the world, what's the meaning of continuity if u all begin to claim gej did this and that,were u expecting the project to be stopped and not finished like its been since obj's days? A nice development altogether BRF.

What is this one saying. GEJ made no provision in 2014 and 2015 budgets. And so PMB included it in this year's budget. What you see now is its implementation. Continuity I say. Kudos to PMB and BRF.

What thrash are you spewing.....construction work was ongoing up till March-April 2015 but was stopped after Buhari was sworn in, were they using sand to fund the contractors if there was no budgetary provision?

Actually, the man is correct. Budget for road was grossly insufficient to meet up.

By March 2015, contractors were packing up because we could not afford to meet obligations owing to low oil prices.

We were already borrowing to pay salaries talk less of capital projects.

We had to renegotiate certain contracts.

Leadership should be all about continuity, and reasonable leaders continue or build up on what they meet on ground; GEJ was not the first to initiate works on the lagos ibadan road, OBJ wasnt even the first either. Obasanjo but suffered neglect and
abandonment during GEJ regime,
be informed.

What has Fashola done? The FG appealed to all contractors to go back to work and promised to pay them for all outstanding bills. Fashola has done NOTHING!
Better appreciate Jonathan for at-least rewarding this contract to credible road construction companies after the clueless and corrupt old man from Ota had spent 8 years as president and he could not do anything about that road.
