ANY WAY SHA THIRD TO COMMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME.
na insurance to pay naa i no concern them
Re: Fire Outbreak At Lagos Airport Hotel by ajasa4link: 2:26pm On Jun 21, 2016
Now this is why insurance is important. If they have an insurance policy in place, all they just need to do is fill a claims form, attach estimate of repairs for the building and valuation of contents destroyed in the fire and they should get their payment cheque after loss adjusters have completed investigation.

Go to intercontinental hotels, Victoria Island and see if you won't have a rethink

It will have been better for the whole hotel to burn down!!!
Lagos Airport Hotel has become a monumental eyesore. Its past glory has since departed it save for its Olympic-size swimming pool.

It will have been an opportunity to turn it to a great 3-4 star hotel it used to be.

Note that this hotel is under the Oodua Group. A conglomerate formed during the days of the western region by Ogun, Oyo, Osun , Ondo and Ekiti states as a regional development plan.
The aim was laudable and great but the ideology, political leaning and poor management killed their ambition and objectives. Nepotism and politics overtook the management of the companies.

it set up the National Bank of Nigeria, Wema Bank, the Nigeria General Insurance Company, Great Nigeria Insurance Company, GravilEnthoven and Company, Lagos Airport Hotel, Vegetables oil, Cocoa Industries, Odu’a textiles, Wrought Iron Ltd, Union Beverages Ltd, Sungas Company, Wemabod Estates, Western Livestock, Fisheries Services Ltd, Caxton Press, Epe Plywood, Askar Paints, Nigerian Crafts and Bags Ltd, Nipol Plastics, Phoenix Motors and several others. They held various portfolio most of which are now moribund.
Oranmiyan things .
