Good evening beautiful mamas.
My follicle tracking today (cd9) showed an endometrial lining of 6mm, one 16mm dominant follicle on the right ovary, and mild fluid in the cavity.
My question, Is the endometrial lining OK for cycle day 9. (Note, I often ovulate at cd 10/11, I have a 26 day cycle)
Also,is this mild fluid in the cavity suggestive of infection?
Generally ed lining of above 8mm is considered ok for pregnancy to occur. I think the lining grows by 1mm everyday..your dom follicle is still 16mm, a mature one ruptures anywhere from 18mm and that also grows at 1mm per day. So scientifically, by day 11your follicle would be 18mm and lining 8mm.

You can get low dose aspirin to increase blood flow to your uterus and thereby improving the lining.
Infections usually inhibits implantation, you might want to get antibiotics that are safe in pregnancy to improve your chances. Azithromycin is a good one to use.

Make sure you still do another scan on CD 11 to see if all went well.
I wish you the best.

Felt like sharing and I pray it helps anyone who just finished af. I wasn't seeing ewcm so I wasn't sure if I was ovulating. I do hv unprotected s*x wit my boyfrnd who is now my hubby but I never fell pregnant for over a year. I secretly wnted to get pregnant evn if it myt result in abortion. I fell sick april last year wit pneumonia n I was placed on soo many meds wch didn't work. My mum started giving me squeesed bitterleaf juice and I took it for over two weeks bfore I got beta n went bck to schl. Dat was d cycle I fell pregnant and it was kind of shocking though u all knw d end result of dat pregnancy. I recommended it for my elder sis and she got preggy after 2years of ttc. Then I started a research on bitterleaf n fertility. It helps evn if it one glass, then stop during ovulation n continue if af shows but if itz bfp don't take again. Gudluck maamas

The endometrium is a little bit thin but u can still thicken it with castor oil pack and red raspberry leaf tea before ovulation. Try vitamin E and B. All these worked for me. For the fluid you can use clean point tampon to clear it. It is well

Yes ooo, u go open ur yarsh well well. spread ur legs, they will shine torch sef...Lol. Don't mind me joor.
But seriously, u will spread ur legs wide open. Mine was conducted by two male doctors. the nurse wasn't steady in the room. it was a little painful but it didn't last for long. Tubes were declared ok. Although in the process I vomited. Was asked not to eat though but hunger wired me so had oranges. So in the process vomitted. Doctor had pity on me and bought snacks and drink. Spotted like two days. Shame catch me die. The follicle tracking, wasn't facing doctor directly so he didnt look. He was concentrating on the screen. Whenever I tink about going to open my legs for doctor, fear dey catch me. I pray apart from delivery, nothing should make me open my legs that wide again. I'm generally a shy person

CC: sixx grin, loisemum

@ loisemum, hmmm no you got me wrong in my congratulatory message to Olubankemi, we announced our bfps the same period last year but mine ended up being ectopic, not this year.

I had another scan today, the sac was seen in the uterus but GSA is measuring and reading 6weeks 3days instead of 8 weeks. No heartbeat or foetal pole seen undecided.
Well am still in the spirit of praise and thanks giving. Will see my gynecologist tomorrow for follow up. The sonographer commented that its a cyesis with equivocal viability, praying God makes it unequivocally viable. grin

What CD day did you do the scan? I don't see any follicles mentioned.

Some sonographers are just angry
How thick is the thickned endometrium, they dint state.
Where is the fibroid located, they dint state.
Was it supposed to be a follicle tracking scan?

@99Billiondollar, are you in Lagos, hope this is not too late, if so you can try Clinix, they have a female sonographer. I used them when i had my HSG, it was just one guy in the whole team who just took the first xray shot without having to open my vjayjay, the rest were females in all they took 4 xrays and they were very friendly.

before the Clinix HSG, i used Union diagnostic in Victoria Island, it was a team of ladies that did that as well, but some mamas have complained about using union here. Alternatively, u can make enquiries at the lab if the have a female sonographer or request that u want a female sonographer, but in all na the result matter ojare, i always say to myself that they don see more than enough my own na 1 out of the hundreds so no lele.

All the best dearie, it is well with you

Hello Mamas in the house, am really confused at the moment , i have been ttc after 1 blighted ovum and 1 miscarriage so i decided to see a specialist on Tuesday and he advised that i go for HSG this morning which is my cycle day 10.

The result says perifimbrial adhesions (tubes blockage)which he explained to me that i have only 2 options which are: Option 1. Surgical procedure which i would have be on injections for 5months after the surgery and i shouldn't even have plans of taking in this year. Option 2. IVF.

Honestly, i am devastated now because i don't event know the cause of this or maybe the previous evacuations wasn't done properly.

I don't know if there is anyone in this kind of situation or maybe there's a natural remedy to solve this.

Kindly help with suggestions please.

Thankfully,my tube appears fine. We shall all overcome. From story to glory!! Lets leave it all to God. Omowunmigan...i hope u are doing fine. @oluwanshindara...were are u? Trust you are fine.
@omiyale...i remember you had an ectopic too, pls how long did you feel the pain after d Hsg because am still having pains in my pelvic region and d radiologist told me its because of the surgery I had to remove the tube.

The heavy bleeding is most likely as a result/effects of clomid you took. Just observe and see what happens.

Do a scan to be sure there are no cysts or fibroids.

Cyesis (Pregnant)
Sac in uterus (Not ectopic)
You probably ovulated later than you think hence the 6weeks GA
6weeks is still quite early for FHR....lets see what happens in 2 weeks
Im interested in your gyne's opinion, if you don't mind please share.
