Hi everyone. Am quite new here and had found this thread interesting. Am married for four months now and had been TTC. My MC is 28 days clear. I learnt online that my ovulation under this circumstance should be 11 days from the first day of MC. A week ago, I heard the opposite of it from a TV Gynecologist that its actually 11 days to next MC. Which is correct please?

Out of desperation, I have taken Clomid around April/May and Parlodel June. I hope someone will share about this drugs with me pls.

Hello everyone, I am new in the house and appreciate all your wonderful contributions.

I have been married for 4 years now without a child. My husband is okay. About 7 years ago I did this abortion that almost claimed my life, after that I noticed that my menstrual circle which normally last 4 days and very moderate not last up to 8 to 9 days and runs very heavily within the first 2-3 days associated with this killing waist pain.

Please what do I do? I am scared that my reproductive system was tampered with during this messy abortion.

you very much welcome to this thread, i think you should lay this complaints to a good oby/gyn doctor who can carry out some necessary tests on you and deduce if you fears are real or imaginary.

@ limar, i dont think there is any hard and fast rule that says you must ovulate on day 11, infact for a regular cycle like yours of 28 days, you are likely to be pink/blue on day 14 of your cycle. I think you can also try Ovulation Prediction Kit, Egg White Cervical Mucus to be really sure. Anyways since you work online so well, try to learn more about ovulation signs. Rely on what your body tells you and not what a TV doctor says.

Ave been with clomid before (once) i actually reacted to it, so i cant say much about that. If you want to learn more, try reading this thread for the very beginning, you ave more than enough tips to help you through. Take care of yourself

Welcome. As Aladunni said put yourself in the hands of a good specialist doctor, who should run the necessary test to find out whether everything within you reproductive system is still all right and working fine. If you are ok then you husband's sperm may need tested also.

I would say as a general rule never ever take drugs that you have not researched or that you may not need.

Don't worry you have only been ttc for 4 months. Just keep healthy and ensure you baby dancing regularly at least around the fertile days of you cycle.

Also, can someone give me the precise address of a pharmacy where I could get Preseed to buy. I've been almost all over Lagos looking for it. Av been to MedPlus, Ikoyi, Juli Pharmacy Ikeja, and others but they dint have. Some pharmacies didnt even know what i was talking about. So, if you could help me with any location I would be glad.

Hello women how are you all doing? Welcome New ladies to this small family of ours i hope and pray that you all have your testimonies ASAP.
I am feeling under the weather a lot no energy i thought by now i should be very strong but it seems like it is not so . But i am taking each day at a time and i am still thankful.
Just out of curiosity what is this Pregnacare i keep hearing , is it just prenatal you take you get your body ready for conception before and during pregnancy or it is something else?
This weekend is touch and go for me. my sister is having a baby the first baby in my family and we thought her water broke ran to the hospital nothing happening having small contractions nothing major yet .after the whole running this morning she is busy dancing this evening so i guess no show for the baby today I cant wait to see this baby i guess it will keep my mind off my own for a while so i don't obsess about my own. please put me in your prayers that she has a smooth delivery without complications.

@ Arly,it's well,your sister will deliver safely in Jesus name. Pregnacare is basically a multivitamin designed for pregnant women. It contain folic acid,iron,magnesium,vitamin B family etc. It can be taken berfore conception(as they claim,there's Pregnacare conception),during pregnancy and during breast feeding. I am presently using this as a prenatal drug and since it's one tablet a day,i find it easier to handle,except it makes me hungry

@ Vinibabe thank you , now about clomid I have used it for 5 cycles and of the 5 i got pregnant 2 times and i lost both babies. i was on 50mg but i worked with a fertility specialist so I had to do ultrasounds to see if it was working to see if any egg was developing.
i don't really know how your doctor said you should take yours did he just say take it for 4months and baby dance during your ovulation? You said to take it on the second day i always took mine on the 3rd day after the ultrasound .
Because as i have always stated, clomid can be dangerous and work against you because it can thin out your uterus and your body will not be conducive for pregnancy .
once i took it and i was told not to do a procedure because the clomid had thinned out my uterus i was put on estrogen tablets to try and rebuild it and that cycle did not work.
so Vini it depends on how you are taking it , i am some how amazed the way people are talking about clomid it seems you can just go and get it and take it. My friend told me i want twins jo i am going to take clomid , Clomid is the drug that causes multiple births 2 to 6 babies. so just find out from your doctor more instructions on it.

hi all, i am here, had a couple of scares over the past week but I am grateful that the baby is fine its only mummy that feels horrible.

I find out the gender next week, can't wait. Pregnacare is an ante natel vitamin tablet, you have to take it with food thou cos it will upset ur stomach if u don't eat (i'm talking from experience).

I think i have spoken here about my issues but I want you ladies TTC to stay positive and prayful - like i have previous stated I have fibroids (multiple) and PCOS, both of which u know make it hard to conceive. It is only through God that I am pregnant cos i didn't take any medicine to help me conceive.

My sister gave birth on the 24th she was in Labour for 24 hours the baby placed his hand on his face so it was difficult for him to come out but he did. Lord to have a child is not easy as i saw it with my own eyes but God was our strength.
He is just by my side sucking his binki . I cant let him out of my sight my sister is afraid i will spoil him with me carrying him 24/7 but i cant help my self. I am grateful to God.

i have been trying for 6 months and due i just got to 35 yrs in this month of August.  As i was told that if you are under 35yrs you can only wait for 6 months to go for the test. So pls i will want a reply for this.
