@blank,
When you call her, tell her it is well. If she is crying, cry with her. i believe you are a Christian.
Then tell her you are thanking God for His faithfulness in her life and He is truly faithful for making her conceive.
Tell her that despite what happened, She came out alive, hale and hearty for the babies that are coming.
Then give her this scripture:

Isaiah 49:20-22

20 The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell. 21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children , and am desolate, a captive , and removing to and fro ? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been? 22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

There is really nothing you can tell her to console her except the Word of God. She should prepare as the next is coming soon in Jesus name.
Let her take heart.

@Blank ,     how sad . maybe she took the anti maleria  tablets because she thought she was having a fever.  i have heard so many mothers/women say one of the symptom s of early pregnancy is a fever like chill.

I agree with Alwaystrue, let the word of God do the consoling and whatever you tell her she needs to know it is not her fault, cause she may start to blame herself. I think you should got to visit with her and be there for her.  Allow her to cry and just keep reminding her of God's faitfullness. i have  gone thru something similar and the only remembering the faithfulness of God saw me through those hard days.

It is well with her soul.  2Cor 12v9.  and Eph 6v10
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Arlington(f): 12:01am On Aug 17, 2011
@Blank if she wants to cry let her cry ohh. just let her know you are by her side,just call her and listen that is all you have to do. Right now telling her there is a reason for it might not get to her.
In my case I did not want to talk to anyone,closed down my facebook and did some other stuff just to punish my self and live in isolation.
But my family was there for me and i tried again and again until i had my sugar plum now.
Just be there for her she will carry her own child.

She has not been picking my call and then she switched off her phone. Even when i called her husband so i can speak with her she said she didn't feel like talking to anyone. She took one weeks sick leave and just sits in the dark, under the sheets crying. I am not in the same state with her so i can't see her but i will travel to see her over the weekend.

I gave those scriptures to her husband and he broke down in tears. I didn't know the thing has been touching him so badly. He always seemed nonchalant about it. He said he has been trying to convince her so that they go for treatment or just to know what the problem was and she refused. He said he feels responsible for her total shutdown cos he said something to her that she took the wrong way and has now refused to talk to anyone and see anybody even her own mum.

I am just so sad.

@ Blank: my song for your friend is "Eyes on the Sparrow".

The Word of the Lord says " HE know all about us", "That HE will never leave nor forsake us, " That He will do a new thing", that The Glory of the latter house shall be more than the former", That He will perfect all that concerns us".

Cling unto these word, It is well with us, Amen

@ blank
At 5 weeks pregnancies are still very uncertain, the miscarriage may not have been anything to do with the medication she took. So she does not have to blame herself.
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by yogun(f): 3:18pm On Aug 17, 2011
@Gen Buhari:
it is quite possible, our bodies react in different ways and i feel it is better not to debate if the medications was responsible or not. let's allow her grief but remember her in our prayers and pray that very soon, the sound of rejoicing shall be heard from her camp.

it is well with us all.

@camrygmail, I paid 35k in an hospital in Port Harcourt to enable ovulation and it wasn't pregnl. With the injectibles; i was still being monitored through trans vaginal scan which is to ensure that the follicles does not over stimulate. Please dont do this without proper guidiance and monitoring.

Right from my early years i love and adore babies and have always nortured the thought that someday i will have mine, wowww but unfortunately man proposes God disposes. My initial plan was after my wedding maximum 3 months i will take in but ever since then it has been a different story entirely,at times i feel God is partial that people who do not want this gift get them easily and they do not even appreciate what God has done. I saw this trend and decided this will be the place to let loose all of my worries as i have read through previous messages. This is actually my first time here but i believe this is for a purpose. UHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! At times i believe we are just been punished by some wicked ones or soooooooooo, Ultimately i know for sure that My Redeemer never ever ever fail.

If she's truly desperate afta 5yrs then she'll see ɑ̈ specialist asap. I don't think it is right for you to prescribe Clomid  her since Ʊ r not her doctor or are Ʊ? What if it does more harm than good Let her see ɑ̈ GYN immediately
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by ibifemi(f): 9:33pm On Aug 22, 2011
Instead of clomid, i advice she tries FertilAid which is a supplement that aids in balancing hormone and ovulation. No side effects

@imurboss,
I wld advice u to relax and wait till a year. Your anxiety may trigger stress, and stress affects ur hormones. Your hormones needs to be balanced for conceptionto take place.
Trust God and try to relax. I know it's not easy cos am also TTCing, but don't get frustrated about it cos ur frustration wld lead to desperatiion and depression.
If you cannot wait again, then please and please, you and hubby shld go to gyn / fertility specilist. Proper hospitals pls, no online consulting.

God bless, I look forward to hearing ur testimony.

God help me,

i'm trying to help someone get pregnant but without having to be involved in thier marital issues.(you know the husband and wife privacy ,personal thing)

i'm traveling to see my sister in-law who has been looking to get pregnant for the past 5 years now.(by the way she's in her late 30's)

so please naira landers is it ok to ask her to go and get ''' CLOMID"" from the pharmacy .i already got one from the united states which i want her to start taking immediately.

can she self medicate ""clomid" , cause she refuses to go through ivf (she says its "un-natural"), she has gone through a fibroid operation late 2009,and she keeps taking this drink she says its herbal fertility drink , prescribed by one lady from her Church.

ever since the operation in 2009 october she has increased in size . even her tummy looks bloated(swollen)
how do i help this stubborn person,

Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by mogbomoya: 2:43pm On Aug 24, 2011
@imurboss,
I understand ur anxiety, but also remember that everyone is running a different race. If ur sister's conceived in one month that's great. All I know is that the bible says None Shall be Barren and he would bless the fruits of our womb. So dear, relax and let God take control.

I don't know how to phrase this update on my friend. I went to visit her over the sallah hols and found her in a great mood. It seems like the doctors were able to isolate what was causing her inability to conceive (and the miscarriage) and they said it is treatable. Can't really remember the medical terms. So the miscarriage she had has brought its own good luck. She is willing to go for the treatment so that is already a good step. I pray God finishes what he started.

I have shown her this thread and she was so touched that she cried. She is grateful for the prayers and good wishes and says she is doing well. Though i doubt she will register on Nland. Thanks guys for your help.

It is painful but the truth of the matter is that you will survive it. I am not preaching but i have discovered that God has purpose for everything.

Let me tell you that sometimes the use of herbs has proved to be effective where Modern medicine has failed.

There are some herbs even within your surrounding that you dont even know that works wonderfully well.

you can easily get some in the market with less than N200. It is a matter of buying it yourself and prepare it by yourself.
I advice you to get herbs. i have seen many cases like yours and with the use of herbs, Satan was put to Shame.
Remain Blessed and trust Him alone all the time.

This is not a place to tout for trade. This is a peer support thread.
@all,
A "Doctor" that does not have a hospital /clinic address, landline telephone number cannot be trusted - be very careful.
