Wen militants from d south south kidnap or kill or blow up pipelines and plants, the south hardly condemns or see anything wrong with dis act of irresponsibility. Raher, dey tell us dat dey are fighting for dia right and what belongs to dem. To dem, d act of irresponsibility is justifiable.
Dis is the difference between d NORTH and d SOUTH. One mostly condemns and abhor acts of irresponsibility, the other mostly supports and justifies d behaviour!
Perhaps d only region in d south dat condems or abhor any act of irresponsibility is the south west. You hardly ever hear d yoruba & Edo people support any act of irresponsibiliy. Dat is why d region is d most peaceful in nigeria today.
sadly, d nigerian media also engages in act of irresponsibility. They are sensational in dia reportage of events. The other day, a group of militants from niger delta stormed Ogun state killed more dan 20 people and vandalised d pipelines, d media was almost silent on the sad event. The few dat reported it simply said "militants stormed Ogun, kills a score of people"
And i asked which militants? Why deliberate refusal to qualify or ascribe region or religion to the word "militant"? Were d atrocity committed by d north you will see caption like "Hausa militant or Fulani militants or Islamic militants stormed Ogun and killed 20 yoruba people"
The act of irresponsibility is being perpetuated everyday by niger delta militants Ipob agitators but d press is almost unconcerned and low in dia reportage of these event yet dey are quick to report acts of irresponsibility committed by bokoharam on a daily basis. That is d way d nigerian press is biased, sensational and unpatriotic
For nigeria to be d country we want, we must all condem all acts of irresponsibility irrespective of our religion, region or ethnic divide. The press must wake up to dia responsibility of being an impartial, honest and forthright group. We must all as a nation and as a people stand up for what is right and Just all d time.

The OP is a silly man. When Corp Members were murdered in North in 2011, the northern leadership called it an act of God. When Mrs Agbahime was killed in North last month, many northerners thanked Allah that she was successfully killed. when war against Boko haram was being waged, President Buhari condemned it calling it a war against North and Northern Elders Forum wrote a letter to ICC to arraign Gen. Ihejirika before it and etc. The northern leadership has never condemned any condemnable act by their subjects.
