If I was still an aspirant, I would simply tear and throw away my waec result and call it an ex waec. Then cool down and rewrite waec again with better expo in a very special centre and wait for Jamb.

Bolustic:
I don't think this is good enough considering the high rate of examination malpractices in O'Level exams. If you happen to mark WAEC/NECO scripts, you'd know most secondary school students, don't own their results they cheated.

That apart, using UNILORIN or UNILAG who get close to, if not more than, 90,000 applicants a year with just a meagre 7,000 available admission slots, if the points grading system was adopted and let's say 45,000 qualified. What would the FG do to the other remaining 38,000 successful applicants.

Post UTME is by far the most credible exam right now.

Besides, why is it so hard to pay for post utme? The same people who will spend lavishly on Aso Ebi, Owanbe, Sallah, Alcohols, clubbing and other frivolities should be able to spend on education without complaints
someone gets my points jare

Whats the meaning of 180-200 : 20-23
Which one is which?

The OP gave an explanation of this...

i.e.
180 -185 = 20 pts
186 -190 = 21 pts
191 -195 = 22 pts
196 -200 = 23 pts

Weac and neco malpractice would multiple 10 times, the disadvantage of candidates with 2 seatings in O'level, not really fair.

THIS IS SIMPLY RUBBISH. NOW TO ENTER UNIVERSITY IN NIGERIA, WE HAVE TO BE USING CALCULATOR, CALCULATE POINT IN WASSCE, UTME AND SO ON. I DONT KNOW THE STANDARD SET IN OTHER COUNTRIES BUT OURS HERE ARE JUST INCONSISTENT.
BEFORE IT WAS POST UTME, NOW IT IS THIS THRASH AND DESPITE THIS OUR UNIVERSITIES ARE STILL NOT IN THE TOP RANKINGS.

MAYBE IT IS BECAUSE OUR GOVERNMENT HAVE DECIDED NOT TO CREATE MORE UNIVERSITY THAT THIS MEANINGLESS DEVELOPMENTS ARE COMING UP

Guys abeg this is share incompetence by jamb. After the long awaited post utme grading system, now this .This will rip off all those that have two results.First and foremost its not everybody that makes his/her first paper on the first sitting, abeg look at it on the bright side anything can cause someone to pass or fail a single subject at first waec sitting let alone more than one subject. The point gap between first sitting and second sitting is damn too much.Haba even buhari sef get only waec who knows how many sitting? Now add up this poor point score with jamb score then the cut off marks come in to play.Omo this is terrible to be honest.
