EFCC and penchant for media trial. The frozen of Fayose's zenith account did not bring the desire attention from the media. This is another stunt hoping it will meet their desire target.
Meanwhile EFCC should help and recover the #1.5billion Fayemi donated to Buhari for his campaign to Ekiti .

You should learn to read .

https://www.nairaland.com/3208594/real-reason-fayoses-counsel-requested

There is no media trial.

The investigator read all the details as part of the counter affidavit under oath in Ekiti high court during the asset freezing suit Fayose brought against EFCC.

His lawyer had to call for adjournment immediately.

They av collected witch hunt from ur mouth and replaced it with media trial. grin

This thief Fayose is going down in 2016 not in 2018

There is no absolute immunity....

In light of the fact that Fayose's crimes are pre-election related, he can be tried NOW and jailed NOW, despite the immunity clause. Fact is that inspite of the same immunity clause, President Buhari was, until the case was recently withdrawn, undergoing trial for "Certificate" issue. Remenber? Also Gov. Ayade of Cross River was tried last year for Perjury in pre-election matter!!!

What we can deduce from the above two cases and the unbroken chain of judicial decisions on the inapplicability of immunity to election-related proceedings is that immunity does not cover proceedings which are rooted in infractions or actions taken during or before elections says Mr. Femi Falana (SAN)
How much is Ekiti state budget that Fayose will spend 1billion on a house? Please think with your brain not from your anus

Opposition equal to probe. There are many dubious people but been silent protects them. So this fight is selective and that is not good

LOL.................

EFCC spooling stories since time memorial
The same way Diezani alison-madueke was the leading headline on all newspapers as pioneer for corruption and later charges dropped for no reason( I guess the judge got bored and wanted another form of entertainment ) so is the new one from EFCC.

I pity the gullible

Nice conspiracy theory.

No media entertainment.

They were in court where Fayose challenged EFCC for freezing his account.

The investigator stepped forward and told the judge all wat u read in a counter affidavit under oath.

Fayose's SAN quickly called for adjournment.

EFCC should check on all governors in Nigeria today if any of them don't have even more than that property withing 5months... I don't say Fayose is not corrupt but only the opposition are being exposed while some other APC governors are vindicated... and adequately check on last profile of some Buhari's ministers as well...between there 5months in office...expose all not one...

Aisha BuharI - no immunity

Tinubu - no immunity

Buhari - no immunity

Atiku - no immunity

Obasanjo - no immunity

Fayemi - no immunity in the last 6 months

Amaechi - why didn't they just publish the report on their investigation when he was Governor with facts.

If the past Govt was busy stealing and did not prosecute them, why are u crying about selective now ?

Will we prefer this Govt too concentrate on stealing that is not corruption?

When a serious Govt come, they can investigate them and prosecute them.

One sided is not enough reason Fayose should go Scot Free.

Stop asking f00ish question.

Was Buhari with immunity during the clueless ones reign ?

Why didn't he jail him.

Just answer why.

Buhari was without immunity for the 16 years PDP was in power.

Ok they were busy stealing no time to arrest thieves.

Quite honestly, this is no news...what are we suppose to do with this? are we to arrest him or prosecute him? if EFFC have the facts they know where to go and what to do....passing the information on social media or newspaper is garbage . it just smacks of unprofessionalism or media trial...do what the law says you should do...
or do EFCC think any sane Nigerians do not know politicians are rogues?

Burutai, a civil servant, bought properties worth millions of dollars. Why are they sweeping it under the carpet?
I believe in fighting corruption but when it is targeted only at the opposition, it losses it's appeal to me.
