Imagine after washing, cleaning and cooking for your boyfriend, he keep saying any guy that marries you would be so lucky. So, what is stopping him from being the lucky guy? A lot of naija guys are fond of saying/doing this to a girl. It shows he doesn't have any future plans with the girl. All he cares about is to use her now, dump her and look for a fresh girl to marry later.
